What we collect

Almost nothing. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you typed. While you browse, we count page views with Vercel Web Analytics: no cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking, no personal profile, and the counting runs on our own domain rather than a third-party tracker. It tells us "the CORS page got 40 visits", never "who you are". That's the full list. No ad trackers anywhere.

The "Explain my session" tool

When you use the free tool, the text you paste is sent to our server, passed once to Anthropic (the AI company whose model writes the explanation), and forgotten. We store none of it: no database, no logs of your paste, no account. Before your text even leaves the browser, we mask anything that looks like an API key or password, locally, on your machine. Anthropic processes the masked text to generate the explanation and does not use it to train models. The only thing we count is that the tool was used (a page view, same anonymous counting as above).

What we do with your email

We send you Glimfly news: one email when the app is ready, a handful while we build it in public. Nothing else. We never sell, rent or share your address, and every email we send lets you ask off the list (just reply "stop" and a human removes you).

Who processes it

The waitlist form is currently relayed by FormSubmit, which forwards your submission to our inbox. This is a temporary setup for the early waitlist; before launch we will move to a dedicated email service and update this page. Our site is hosted by Vercel.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you (it will be: your email address), ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it, promptly and without drama. Write to hello@glimfly.com, reach us on X at @heyglimfly, or reply to any email we've sent you.
